Sherin is originally from Egypt. She is a graduate of the School of Tourism and Hotel Management in Egypt where she learned about Egyptology. In 1998 Sherin obtained her first Masters of Art in Museum and Heritage Studies from the University College London, U.K. . She then became the Head of the Egyptian Museums Department at the Supreme Council of Antiquities under the supervision of the renowned Egyptologist Dr. Hawass. She conducted a number of educational programs for all ages in Egyptian museums and participated in the exhibition planning of new museums. In 2011 she finished a semester of Maters of Fine Arts in Museum Exhibition Planning & Design, University of The Arts in Philadelphia. She is a proud mother of a 5 and 6 years old daughters.
