As a young homemaker living as an expat in Singapore, Jean seized every opportunity to plan family travels and guided her children to learn about different cultures and cuisines as they traveled around the world. In these years, she developed creativity, resourcefulness, and the art of taking care of everyone and everything. The children grew, and in 2004, with thirty years of traditional homemaking skills, Jean partnered with Walt Disney World® Resort to create an innovative cultural edutainment experience for international guests. As the female owner and President of American Language Learning, Jean drew on her decades of international experiences and her deep passion for taking care of everyone and everything, and she developed and directed English Days at Walt Disney World® Resorts. After eleven magical years at Disney, she retired and attended the International School of Hospitality in Las Vegas. Upon graduation, she continued her passion for excellence in hospitality service as a hotel Concierge on the Las Vegas Strip. In 2022, the Pandemic prompted Jean and her husband of 55 years, Tom, to move across the country to Havertown, close to their daughter and grandchildren. Jean embraced Philadelphia as her new home, immersing herself in the city's streets, sports, arts, entertainment, and culinary scene. Following a magnificent two years at Four Seasons Philadelphia, Jean transitioned to the role of Concierge Supervisor of 10 Rittenhouse in Philadelphia where she continues to curate memorable experiences for residents and their guests who wish to celebrate the city's rich history, culture, and cuisine. In addition to membership in Les Dames d' Escoffier Philadelphia, she is an active member of the Philadelphia Area Concierge Association, holding Board positions in Membership, Finance, and Community Engagement. Jean cherishes every opportunity she has had to carry on her service, with heartfelt dedication, taking care of everyone and everything!
