Iva Bruni started her career as a business reporter and Editor-in-Chief for some of the most significant European news outlets. Over the years, she transitioned into digital project management and moved to New York, where she earned a degree in Project Management at NYU. While attending NYU, Iva fell in love with the diverse culinary world of the city and became a part of the creative and competitive craft cocktail scene. As General Manager of Leyenda, awarded cocktail bar in Brooklyn, Iva worked alongside Ivy Mix and Julie Rainer, some of the most influential mixologists of 20 century. Being a part of a successful women-owned and women-operated craft cocktail bar inspired her to champion young females in the hospitality industry by creating a mentorship program.
Iva then spent a few years in Hawaii, where she managed the oldest working brewery and restaurant on the island of Oahu. Genuine devotion to operational excellence led her to pursue a Lean Six Sigma Belt and a Master's program in Organizational Development. Recently, Iva became General Manager of Giuseppe and Sons, part of the Schulson Collective. Prior to that Iva worked at Fearless restaurants as General Manager of Rosalie, a soul food Italian restaurant in Wayne, PA. She continues to follow her passion for mentoring and illuminating the path for new female leaders in hospitality.
