Beth DeBruyn

Pastry Chef, Rosemary

Beth DeBruyn started her career as a public finance professional, but she always had a passion for food and a strong sweet tooth. She is the former owner of Cakezilla, providing high-end special occasion cakes. After becoming an empty-nester, she decided to continue her culinary education at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York, where she received her diploma in Health Supportive Culinary Arts.

During that time she trained at Dirt Candy in New York and Irwin’s Upstairs in Philadelphia. She served as Executive Chef for the opening of Life’s Patina Mercantile and Cafe in Historic Yellow Springs, and most recently took on the role of Pastry Chef at Rosemary in Ridley Park. She holds an undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Boston University with primary studies including finance, marketing and information systems.
