Tanesha Trippett, founder of Jacobs Catering, launched her culinary journey in 2016 in Philadelphia, PA. Coming from a family of talented cooks with deep Southern roots in Savannah, Georgia, Tanesha developed her palate by experiencing the authentic flavors of Southern comfort foods. From outdoor deep frying and steaming fresh seafood to creating smoky grilled dishes, her culinary style reflects her rich heritage. Embracing the rise in vegan cuisine, she has also mastered the art of crafting delicious and robust vegetable-based dishes.
In 2017, Tanesha expanded her vision by opening a food truck, followed by the launch of a café in late 2019. Her expertise and dedication have earned her contracts with prestigious organizations such as the Fairmount Park Conservancy, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Her culinary excellence has been spotlighted by the Philadelphia Eagles, Budweiser, NBC, PHL17, and even Disney/Pixar. Tanesha's unwavering passion for food and her ability to create memorable dining experiences continue to solidify her place as a culinary force in Philadelphia and beyond.
