My name is Tanesha Trippett, I started Jacobs Catering in 2016 in Philadelphia, PA I am one of many cooks in my family. The best cooks in my family were born and raised in Savannah, Georgia. This is the place where my palate was developed, I have experienced authentic, Southern “comfort foods.” From deep frying outdoors to steaming fresh seafood, as well as creating smoky, grilled foods. With the rise in vegan cuisine, I also create delicious and robust vegetable dishes. I opened a food truck in 2017 and a cafe in late 2019. I have secured contracts with Fairmount Park Conservancy, Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. I have been spotlighted by the Philadelphia Eagles, Budweiser, NBC, Phl17, and Disney/Pixar.
