Betsy Spivak
Founder, La Storia Travel
Betsy Spivak is the founder of La Storia Travel which she created in 2018. She organizes tours to the regions of Puglia and Campania in Southern Italy. Together with her Italian collaborators she shares the soul of Italy with her guests through immersive experiences.
As Betsy’s own travel experiences have deepened, she continues to explore and discover each region’s specific cultural heritage, its legends, folklore, and history directly from its farmers and food artisans, home cooks and chefs, craftspeople and artists, culinary historians and archeologists, and the locals who love their land and want to share it with you.
This is the Italy that enchants Betsy, and these are the experiences that she shares with her tour guests. La Storia Travel offer multi-day “shared” tours on designated dates throughout the year and fully customized private tours.
When she is not traveling and exploring Betsy lives in the East Kensington section of Philadelphia, with her husband Chris and their black lab named Maury.
