Join Us for a Special Cooks and Books Event!
In collaboration with my fellow Sister Dames, Char Nolan and Lynn Buono, I am thrilled to invite you to an inspiring event during National Cookbook Month this October. We’ll be gathering at Main Point Books in Wayne, PA, for a unique Cooks and Books celebration featuring five extraordinary members of Les Dames d'Escoffier who have penned delicious and thought-provoking books:
- “Starting with Ingredients: 100 Delicious Ways to Make Use of What You Got” by Dame Aliza Green
- “The Smart Mediterranean Diet Cookbook” by Dame Deanna Segrave-Daly, RD and Serena Ball, MS, RD
- “Tree of Life: Turkish Home Cooking” by Dame Joy E. Stocke and Angie Brenner
- “Vegan Chocolate” by Dame Fran Costigan
- “Anxious Eaters: Why We Fall For Fad Diets” by Dame Janet Chrzan and Kima Cargill
From culinary delights to a fascinating look at why fad diets fail (and why we still fall for them), this event promises engaging conversations, connections, and tastings from the featured books.
