The Culinary Cultures Coordinator for Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram Garden
Chef Laquanda Dobson was born and raised in Philadelphia where she was guided by a love of food, family, and community. She is known for creating curriculums for youth and community members that reconnect them back to the black diaspora. Traveling and working around the world, she has gained the most notoriety for her Chef Dobson’s Famous Greens. That experience led her to curate empowering spaces for black women business owners to allow them to network, monetize, and show their crafts. Her many years in leadership have created aesthetics, experiences, and undeniable value to the West, South West, and larger Philadelphia areas respectively.
